KATIE NOONAN’S ‘EVERYTHING YOU KNOW’ OUT NOW
3RD SINGLE FROM 30TH STUDIO ALBUM
ALONE BUT ALL ONE OUT JUNE 26
TOURING NATIONALLY THIS JULY
5 x ARIA Award, APRA, AWMA, NLMA and 2 x AIR winner artist Katie Noonan today releases the third taste from her 30th studio album, Alone but all one, available on June 26th, ‘Everything you know’.
“This song is about the absolute magic of new love, the buoyant joy of loving someone so very much that you want to know absolutely everything about them,” explains Katie. “In early 2025 my friend Trent Dalton gifted me 156 pages of unpublished text from 2000-2006 while he was falling in love with his wife Fiona to dream with. These poems have formed part of a 12-piece song cycle for my acapella vocal quartet AVÉ Australian Vocal Ensemble, but I felt inexorably drawn to 5 beautiful vignettes that celebrate the birth of new love. It was super healing for my heavy heart to read these words and remember the deep love that the father of my children and I had 26 years ago. It felt special to honour the birth of love while I was exploring the death of love at the same time – a dichotomous reflection on love in its different forms.”
The album Alone but all one is a quiet turning inward - a return to something essential. Musically it is very stripped back - just Katie, her piano and a string quartet, recorded live in her lounge room on Gubbi Gubbi Country in the hills behind Nambour, Queensland. It feels like a deep breath before the next chapter. The creative intention is clear: to honour this moment, share it with care, and trust that others will feel themselves in it too.
“This body of work is designed not to offload, but to offer. Throughout my career, I’ve noticed that some of the most meaningful audience moments have come when people feel what I’ve put into song, is something they’ve lived but haven’t spoken aloud.
“In this spirit of shared experience, half the album I wrote solo and the other half I wrote with dear Trent’s words, as it honours the birth of love, while I reflect the reimagined love after divorce.”
To celebrate the release of Alone but all one, Katie will take to the road this July, offering fans an intimate evening of the incredible songs and captivating stories that have become the hallmark of her live shows. Joining Katie on this run of shows (excluding Sydney & Margaret River) will be Australian singer-songwriter Mark Wilkinson, who has spent over a decade carving out a unique place in the indie folk scene with his evocative songwriting and captivating live performances. With over 150 million streams and tens of thousands of records sold independently, his warm acoustic sound and soulful vocals explore themes of love, loss and the beauty hidden in everyday moments.

KATIE NOONAN’S 2ND SINGLE FROM 30TH STUDIO ALBUM
‘WHEN THE HEART FALLS APART’
OUT NOW
Of the track, Katie explains, “I wrote this piece up on Larrakia Country at Wagait Beach in NT before I headed out to magic Barunga Festival. A lovely lady on social media kindly offered me her Airbnb house in the bush as a place of healing after my difficult patch….so very kind and generous. She is a fellow divorcee, and to be honest I have felt incredible support from the coven of divorcee women online – we are a pretty mighty bunch, and their kindness and solidarity has been really special to feel. This song is a simple meditation on maintaining hope after having your heart broken. Having hope for a 2nd start, a new beginning sometime in the future.”
The album is an intimate and poignant exploration of love in all its stages and features Katie’s first songwriting collaboration with acclaimed writer Trent Dalton. The album is a powerful and delicate offering with Katie’s piano and a string quartet the only accompaniment for her exquisite vocal performance.
“This album is for anyone who’s gone through a life shift - not just separation, but grief, uncertainty, or quiet reinvention,” reveals Katie. “It’s music for sitting with things. For remembering we’re not alone, even in solitude. It’s personal, but I hope it will resonate in a way that becomes collective.”
